i did my first oil change at 800km and when i took the skid plate off i noticed that the bottom of the engine was covered in a film of oil and there was oil on the skid plate. it wasn't dripping but just a thin film. i'm not sure how they get shipped and if the dealer puts oil in, but i'm guessing that this is a problem. let me know what you guys think.

What causes there to be oil?

Crankcase builds excess pressure, from constantly spinning 6-9000 RPMS, & oil gets pushed into the airbox thru the breather, if enough blows in, it eventually runs out into bellypan & finds its way out thru the cracks.
All the models do this, not just the Nytro.

Check your oil level. If it is above the H mark it will keep doing it until it is just below or at the H mark on the dipstick. Over the weeks of making a skid plate and a few other things for my sled I had the side panels or belly pan off a few time and always seen this oil. Dealer did a oil change before I bought the sled. Finally got fed up and took 6 ounces of oil out of the tank with a turky baster and now no more mess.
Somewhere on this site I read that it should be just at the H mark or just below. For the life of me and the search feature I can't find it anymore. Mine right now is just touching the H mark on the dipstick and 200 miles later the belly pan is still clean.
