do you install a k&n filter on the end of the hose? My sled is at dealer now, so another question. Is the rov. The hose dumping oil in the air box or is it the crankcase breather?Yes, plug the hole and reroute the hose, clean up the oil and you’re good to go.

I didn’t put the K&N filter but some guys do..
Yes the oily water you are getting in the air box is from the roll over valve,

No problem.. mine had a lot to.. once you extend the hose one option is to run it under the air box tube “right behind air box” than as the hose is going towards the front of the sled you will see an opening that you can route it down to the belly pan, I put mine right on top of the oil filter access pan.

Was told by the dealer where sled is at now(I had a different dealer change oil while it was in getting oil tank leak repaired) that when they changed the oil they overfilled tank, was told mechanic took out 9 oz. from tank. Not to mention the oil that came out air box. He cleaned it all up and took it for a rip and stated all is fine. Make sense ?

Yes makes sense but you will still get the roll over valve dump the oily water into the air box.
After a couple days of riding open up the side panel and remove the air filter cover and see how it looks, it only take a minute and you can see if it’s worth it or not to reroute the hose.
Mine wasn’t oil from being over filled so for me it was a no brainer as I didn’t want that liquid going into my air intake and also running down my side panel, I also had a big chunk frozen in my air box.
