Walked into the shop today and noticed a puddle of oil about the size of a hamburger underneath my sled. Was out playing in drifts last night so not sure if that would cause it to overflow? I still need to have a closer look, but was wondering if this has happened to anyone before and what I should be looking for. Sled is 18’ viper ltx dx. Appreciate any help! Thanks guys!

I normally don’t play in drifts, but we’ve been getting hammered with lake effect lately and it’s kinda hard to resist! Lol

Oil likely burped up into airbox through breather hose and dripped out. Happens often when slightly overfilled and hitting jumps, rollers. Just check oil level to make sure all good there.

thankyou, I’ll have a look around

Same thing happened to me a month ago while riding rough trails and hammering down. 2020 viper ltx se. took it in for warranty and dealer said it happens sometimes when slightly overfilled.

I checked oil today and it was right at the maximum so maybe I did have a tad too much in there..
