oil light

today whenever I started my sled the oil light came on for half a minute, then went off. y is that, don't know y but I didn't check oil lol ( still buzzed from new years lol)

same thing happen to me, two days ago. I checked the oil and it was about a cup low, that was all i added and the problem went away

if its cold out it take a minute to get the oil flowing an up to pressure , remember the pump has to pull the cold oil into the motor and get it up to pressure and being a dry sump it takes longer to heat the oil and its outside the engine in a tank right in the cold. I would not be worried mine does it in the cold for teh first start of the day or if its sitting for a while in the COLD.

It is basically to thick to get where it needs to be to shut the light off..
