Oil pressure: should I be using a restrictor

Anyone know the oil pressure for a FX nytro engine ? Curious if I need a restrictor for the oil line going to the turbo. I have read that max pressure is 40 PSI otherwise a restrictor should be installed

Haven't measured a Nytro yet, but if it anything close to the RX and Apex you're looking at 68-70psi of oil pressure (and yes, you would want a restrictor).

allways use a restrictor....its a must!! ball bering don't need lot of oil!

Yes it does need a restrictor. Is why every NW kit I have seen smokes like a old steam engine when they fire up???

Just found out that their is already a restrictor in line to the oil feed to the turbo but it it needs to be restricted some more

NW turbo has determined a better restrictor that solves this issue with the kit while still delivering enough oil to the turbo
