Oil Synthetic with detergent is not good for my RX-1!

Because the starter soak in oil and the bendix to slip... Is true??

I looking for 0 W-40 amsoil ...

Thanks!

If you call Amsoil and talk to a tech, use the oil they recommend. I'm not sure how detergent would mess with the starter clutch, but you never know! Lots of folks are running Amsoil in their 4strokes though.

I don't think the clutch would have a problem with the detergent... The shop I work at has had a few problems with the detergent in street bike motors, as the detergent foams up at high rpm's which car motors don't normally see.
