I had to reseal the oil tank to the chain case and I noticed a groove from one of the tank baffles. Or could this be a machined groove for the baffle to rest in. I wasn't sure so I laid a bead of "The right stuff" in there before I closed up the tank. It's for my 2020 winder with 15000 km.

I just resealed a 2017 oil tank this morning and did not see a grove worn in there like that, perhaps the baffle was not snapped in place correctly in the tank.
