Oil Tank

Oil tank had a crack in it so I met Travis @hibshman25 from Barn Of Parts at the Excell grass drags and picked up a good one along with the oil tank saver, newer W arm (my '06 is now cracked), comfort spring and his oil tank saver kit.

Getting ready to put the new oil tank in and wanted to know how much is normally in the tank.

Thanks. I know its 3.5 when you change the filter, but how about just that external tank? When I removed the return(?) line from the bottom of the tank, I know 3.5 quarts did not come out. I looked more like 1 quart.

When I changed the filter and drained oil from both the external tank and bottom of motor, I refilled with the 3.5 quarts.

the motor holds about 1 qt the bulk is in the tank.
