Where can i get an aftermarket oil tank for my apex?

This is the second oil tank that ive had that cracked at the lower bolt hole.. my brother magnifluxed it and it has a crack in the front and in the rear..

Who would sell a beefier oil tank?

I have seen a few aftermarket Oil tanks on Boosted sleds. I know the MPI S/C kit comes with an aftermarket tank but I am not sure it will work on a stock sled.
Maybe check out the turbo companies?

I called MPI.. $249 for that tank.. OUCH..

Maybe it will be cheaper if you buy the Stage 1 kit that includes the oil tank. Stronger oil tank and 240hp can't be that.

Have you tried one out of an 03 RX-1? They were a thicker gauge steel. The 2003 tank is 1.2mm thick and the 2004 and newer is 1.0mm thick.

I have a 03 oil tank its cracked and patched with JB weld and held with over 2000 miles after the patch. Interesting its thicker then the newer ones.

any way they can save wieght I guess,thinner in lighter!

You could fabricate a tank they do it on orange county choppers all the time. As a matter of fact last year I met a guy in the UP on a home made sled with a Honda motorcycle CB1100 motor in it. It had no body with just screen (mesh) shell no tunnel just tubing frame and seat, Skido front suspension and Arctic Cat rear under it. Anyhoooo he used the spun aluminum budweiser beer bottles for his oil tank and overflow tanks it was awesome - weighed 325 lbs and used the 6 speed transmission with shifter on the tuneel and cluth on the bars and cycle roll throttle.

I just purchased a used 2003 Rx-1 oil tank..

I might cut some gussets out of my old tank and have them welded onto the new tank to support it where they crack.
