oil type

ok i went to dealer today for some parts and asked about oil and filter kits wants $65.50 for full syn 0w-40 kit. and $53.00 for the semi-syn ow-30 kit. he then told me they did not recomend 0w-40 and to stick with the semi 0w-30. i can buy 0w-40 mobile 1 for $7 a quart and pick a filter up under $10 for a max total of $38.00 for the change. Any body know why they would be not recommending the 0w-40 full synthetic?? and anyone have issues with mobile 1 0w-40 oil??

As for why they didn't recommend full synthetic, maybe to try and save you some money?
