Ok...need ur opinion..RAGE OR ATTAK.

As some of you know...i cooked the motor in my 06 attak, due to hitting something, and taking out my front heat
exchanger (which caused the engine to over heat..code 11)

Found out I have excellent insurance, and can get another
sled..my fav yami dealer has an attak gt, and a rage gt, both are 07s, both have high miles, but have been
expertly maintained (new exhaust donuts, jackshaft bearings, wheels, etc)...also both have yamaheaters, handguards, and mirrors...neither is studded.

Im just not sure which one I want...i know the attak is
faster...but by how much??? I guess I m trying to figure
out if the attak is worth the extra $1,000 dollars.

I did like it alot...but (feel free to call me a wuss)...that attak was
probably faster than I need to go..scared the crap outta me the
first time I opened her up on the lake...lol

the Attack will be more rider forward unless those updates were done to the Rage( apex seat,Risers). If you like the Deltabox 1 style and ride and are looking for good performance with about 20 mpg then go with the Rage. We have an '07 Rage and the performance is pretty darn good! It is Awesome on the trails and I'm tellin
ya, the gas mileage is Phenominal! actually we get 22 MPG with the rage.
On the other hand..... the Attack is just too Damn Cool! .... tough decission!

Attak for resale and fuel injection. Put a throttle stop on it so it doesnt scare you.

Attack you'll wish you had it after awhile no matter what. the rage will do close to or even a hundred in the right conditions so whats a few more mph and get there quicker LOL and stud it if you ride trails that are or could have ice rather ruin another sled than miss a corner cause of ice and get hurt or killed. I didn't hesitate to stud mine after I blew my RTX up just don't use anything above 1.325 woodys or comparable. I learned the HARD way that 1.450s are not worth the extra traction and tear out easier imho and make sure your track stays relatively tight and you will have no problems I haven't in 2600 miles and raise just as much hell as I did before.

I would go with the Attack, for the same reasons mentioned above, resale, fuel injection, much better seating position, Delta box 2 chassis, and 30 more HP.

Ha, same decision I had to make back in the day, I really liked the way the blue Rage looked too!

What sold me is that its more updated in all ways and its a whole different animal. If your looking for occaisional bragging rights (in your case), then attak is for you, but if not, then the rage does just fine
