Vmax...im so impressed you ride yamaha (feel the sarcasm).

Never claimed to be better than anybody....but I have lived and ridden in many places.

Let it go...it was not my intent to start trail guys vs mountain guys war.

I apologised for stepping out of bounce...now move on.

Lets just face the facts yamaha is 10 yrs behind the competion. They are simply fat pigs I have one and im discusted and sick of turning it over on its side and getting stuck chasing all the guys on there two strokes. A fourstroke is two heavey for a sled. If yamaha had a clue they would still be making two strokes and be leading not staying with the same chassis for the last 7 yrs. fact is if they were any good at building two strikes they would have twins with turbos stock pushing 150hp and be about 450lbs. but they are not there fat pigs and thats a fact. :moon:

I hear they are coming out with a twin 4stroke with 270hp 399lbs for 2013 it's going to be sweet plus they have a full line of 2strokes they are on top of the game now

I believe HERITAGE must be the best snowmobiler out there...........

Post some videos of your boondocking and hill climbing in WI. Maybe some video of your super fast trail skills. Let us be impressed with your skills...........

I am psyched yamaha came out with the XTX 1.75 for the people that think they have snow and terrain worthy of a longer or deeper lug track........

Do you feel the sarsasm........

Nobody is hyping their riding skills like you and ruckus have and if it continues this thread will be locked until further notice. You will have to agree to disagree both styles of riding if done hard and correctly need skill, stamina, timing and proper equipment.

Yamaha leads in one area motors.

Hey guys, if you actually read this thread you would see I never hyped my own riding skills. Some people who could not substantiate their argument with logic and reason tried to turn this thread into a p!ssing match about the different styles of riding and that is not what this is about. Fact is, trail riders ride trails, mountain riders ride both...unless there are guys airlifting their sleds into the mountains. Stop being crybabies, face the facts (great trail sleds) and move on.

Bounty, I bleed blue as much as the next guy, I absolutly love my 08 Nytro RTX and am not looking to get ride of it any time soon....but the fact is, Yamaha is 4th place in sales and has been for a long time. We all know they have the technollogy and smarts to build some killer stuff...but they are not leading the 4 stroke world anymore. Doo are coming on strong and so is Cat...they are building light weight 4 strokes with great engines and handling.....yes they have their issues as does every sled out there. Yamaha needs to up the anti in the 4 stroke sled game. I don't think they need to go hog wild and build some ultra light sled with mega HP...but they need to figure out a way to shed some LBs, and have a better handling chassis...engine wise they are fine IMO...chassis wise they are falling behind. We all know they can do it! Seems this thread has run its course and might be ready for the dog pile.

The only other 4 stroke that is close is the Doo 1200, and even that is a touch behind the 1050 nytro engine. Cat needs 10# BOOST on a paint shaking 1100cc to best a buttery smooth1000cc na apex. Other riders can take the vibrations since they are use to shaking like crazy on big twin 2 strokes. Cat 1100 na, 115hp engine that pulls like a 100hp engine. Other companies HAVE to put out new stuff constantly since they have NO other markets to fall back on, Yamaha on the other hand can sit back and wait out the economic storm as the have Electronic, Instruments, and a TON of other power sports to fall back on. Arctic Cat is in the worse position and Absolutly NEEDS there sleds to be succesful.

Ruckus is this not tooting your own horn and riding skills?

So you weekend warrior groomed trails guys go ahead and tell us riders who ride in actual snow in actual terrain that we're crazy for riding sh!t and I'll tell you you're crazy for riding a machine that'll get you killed (or at least severely stuck) where I ride.

Or this comment

Yes, in fact backcountry riding makes you a much better snowmobiler

Now you start with the name calling again.

Stop being crybabies

The only one being a cry baby here is you and you were also warned. I hope you are satisfied now this thread is now locked. Keep it up on other threads and it will be holiday time.

PS your pic on your last post saying in before the lock shows your intention was to get this thread locked hope your satisfied now.
