Any guys here go from an 06-07 Nytro to a newer Nytro or a Nytro xtx? What are your thoughts? Thinking of doing a pre-order but want some final feedback.

If you ride high speed, smooth terrain I keep your Deltabox Nytro. It is a way more stable platform for high speed running. Plus it gets better milage and comes stock with a 10.5 gallon tank.
If you are going to ride bumps than the FX Nytro is better.

old nytro new nytro
This year swapted my 06 Nytro for a 10 fx. Love the pull, seat is much better for long rides, cool factor very nice. My 06 did ride better and more stable. The 10 much better for standing. Only thing I would do different would be getting the xtx. Better ride over studders. I wouldn't go back. Next sled will be a new Apex like my wife has Awesome!!!

I found the opposite of the other 2 posts. My 06 Nytro was far less stable than my 11 XTX, I layed my 06 on its side 3 times last year in places where it shouldn't have. Lots of inside ski lif
t with the old Nytro and the rear suspension bottomed out a lot. The only things I liked better about the old one were the switches for the hand warmer / thumb warmer were seperate and the.larger gas tank. Fuel mileage for me has stayed about the.same.

My brother did it, sold his 06 and bought my 09. He loves it.
But I wouldn't spring order, did they change anything from 2011 to 2012?
I'd look around for a slightly used 2010 or a left over 2011, and save some cash. Maybe a well set up 2010 or even 2009.
One that is studded, skis, mtx cooler, trail tank, bigger idler wheels, windshield, some storage...stuff like that
my 2 cents.
