Hi,
I need to order some OEM parts and would like to do it on-line, who is the best or a recommended site? Last year I waited for weeks to get Ski Doo parts I ordered on-line and would like to avoid a month's wait on these items. Thanks :yam:

Try our site sponsors. Port Yamah and Richierich. Fast and knowledgeable service with great prices. And , again, they support this site ;)!

Kevin at port yamaha

www.portyamaha.com

He is awesome, great service fast shipping and if something is delayed he lets you know rather then just leaving you hanging. He is at the NY snow show this week I think then we will be back and he usually gets back to you within a day or two.

Yeap, I have always gotten great results with Kevin at Port. You can order online, fast and easy!

Ports good...so is Highlands in countryside IL. They are prices the same.
www.highlandsyamaha.com
Prices are tough to beat ....16% off on internet orders and thay are both good size dealers. Most parts in stock our out to you the next day.
There is one more that is even better on prices but I have it bookmarked on a computer at home and I am at my shop right now.

Thanks snowdog - I purchased my sled from Highlands in the spring, I was happy with there service and the price was unbeatable . . . I will keep them in mind for next time.

Yeah I like them a lot. What sled did you buy there? My shop is 15 minutes from them so I order parts online and pick it up the next day so no shipping! ;)!

Bought the Apex there in the spring as well...your right on unbeatable. $7500.00 for a GT fresh out of the crate...that was a sweet deal!

Another place that advertises 27% on Yamaha parts is South Seattle Sports Plaza. There web site says "Best prices on all Yamaha parts in the United States!"

www.yamahasportsplaza.com

Don't know how they are as I haven't bought from them

Looks like they are the cheapest as far as dealers go....but NOT the cheapest in the US on some parts...

This is the one I had bookmarked I mentioned before:

http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com

They are even cheaper on most stuff.

Looks like Port and Highlands are the same across the board, then yamahasportsplaza is even cheaper, but for me after shipping it may be a wash since I can go right to Highlands. Cyclewarehouse has the best pricing on MOST parts compared to the others...but when I compared a few things they were higher, so you have to check them all. But overall from scanning around they seemed the cheapest.

Examples:

OIL TANK
Highlands and Port are $193.57
Sports Plaza is $168.22
Cyclepartswarehouse is $165.77

Front Frame complete:
Highlands & Port $901.79
Sports Plaza $783.70
Cyclepartswarehouse $914.13

Front Heat Exchanger:
Highlands & Port $255.67
Sports Plaza $222.19
Cyclepartswarehouse $218.97

Clutch Tune Up Kit:
Highlands & Port $146.82
Sports Plaze $127.60
Cyclepartswarehouse $114.31

Headlight Cover (Dash)
Highlands & Port $79.64
Sports Plaza $69.21
Cyclepartswarehouse $62.02

Windshield:
Highlands and Port $104.12
Sports Plaza $90.48
Cyclepartswarehouse $96.85

So on a large order cyclepartswarehouse seems to be the best, But you have to check all the parts as you can see on the windshield.

Whenever possible, always do what yo can to buy from companies that support this site. They care about you and help keep the site free for all to use.

Trust me... I run a site similar to this... a discussion forum that's free because of the companies that support the site with banner ads.

Anyway, just my $0.02

Cheers,
joel
