Going today to check out a used 09' Nytro Rtx Se, it's in my budget at $5500......and I think it looks good. Please give me some opinions on the sled, I am totally new to 4 strokes and never owned a Yamaha. I'm not sure how to post links, maybe someone can for me. The sled in question is a 09' Nytro Rtx Se in the metro Detroit Craigslist, it's got a blue skull wrap (wich I'm not to crazy about ) has 3500 miles, and has a bunch of add ons. I'm sure the owner is a member here and some may even recognize the sled. Once again it's in my price range and is super clean. Apparently this model had to be snow checked and got a few extras that normal models didn't have.

anyway, yes, looks like a decent deal if it is well taken care of.

i was looking at this for my dad, little out of his price range though. it has the evol shocks. im not a fan of that wrap either but i do like how he has the white vents on the side pieces. ive been thinking about doing this to mine but wanted to see it first.
I would say this is a decent price, cant tell if he has risers/relocated bars.

If it's not gone in 3 hours and all checks out good it will be mine, I can always pull the wrap off! So the vents are not stock, didn't know that. .....or much else about these sleds really. Is there anything I should keep an eye out for?

I think I would like to see you get it for $5500, so $5500 in one pocket and $400 in the other pocket..lol....
Just from the pics the sled looks well taken care of. Most people wont spend 4 hours polishing their tunnels and neglect a 10 min grease job and what not.. Ask if the A-arm bushings, spindle/ski bushings, and exhaust doughnuts have been done, if not they might need to be..But thats no biggie, get the oilite a-arm bushings, ulmer spindle bushings, and copper doughnuts and you can forget about doing them again..

As stated I'm not loving the wrap, but don't hate it either. ....it's growing on me....... $5600 with cover too
I don't mind the wrap. I wouldn't choose it, but don't think I'd remove it either. Sled looks really clean, nice buy!

Is there a pull start on this machine, the previous owner had it on a battery tender. I'm assuming that there isn't a pull cord, I'm taking the manual to work today and I'll study up! Also no heated shield plug on it. ....yet!
