I have an 07' Apex Mnt. Se with Hauck weights, shockwave helix, 19 tooth gear (Outlaw Motorsports clutching set up ). I also have the Hauck pipe and Ulmer plugs. I've removed about 50 lbs from the sleds stock weight. The buddy I raced was on a 2007 Crossfire 700 with a can and a 136x2" challenger track. He weighs 125 lbs LESS then I do and his sled has to be ATLEAST 100 lbs lighter then mine. We raced side by side every time on firm snow from zero to 90 mph. The lugs on my Maverick track are all bent over bad, which doesn't help! Being at least 200 lbs heavier he couldn't beat me or even pull on me, I didn't feel to bad.....LOL, still though it is a 700? I think a challenger track would help some, better hook up and more transfer. Does this sound like a reasonable comparison or should I be expecting more from my non boosted 4 stroke . I did the air box mod like Ulmer sells and considering going back to a 20 tooth or 21 tooth top gear? Don't I need the programmer or Boondocker box to get the full results to these mods though? My next purchase will be a different track, this one gives up a lot in our riding conditions, way to soft! All opinions appreciated.... 
The 136 track will be way faster.Atleast 15mph and faster accelleration.Rotating weight is the biggest thig holding you back.If he had the 162" version it would be a different story.

So your saying I didn't do to bad ? I thought for sure he'd walk on me after 50mph but he couldn't no matter where we raced....he was shocked to say the least! I felt pretty good about my heavy beast.....LOL.
