Reading old posts here and wasn't able to answer my Question, so here it goes!
Got a Optimate 4 charger ( duel Program)
Sleds a 14 Venture Gt with the booster cables accessible from the right side panel
Looking to leave the charger on for extended periods (until it **ckin snows)
Should this be done and in what mode? I assume there is a can Bus system.
Or should i dig the battery out and put the supplied pigtail on directly to battery?
Thanks !

No Canbus. Cables go to a junction block. Hook up your charger and walk away. Love my Optimate.

You won't get the full effect of the Optimate charger using these leads. It WILL charge, just won't desulfate and restore. If you do am oil and filter change, just wire the Optimate adapter right to the battery. Then you'll get the full effect.

Unfortunately i just buttoned up the sled after doing all the pre season work on it, As u know the battery is buried deep in there so that's the answer i needed to hear. Battery is fine and has been on charge all year, but the Pre season seems to be getting longer these days! Thanks Again!
