I hope your M10 works out great. A few friends have Polaris sleds, when M10's were available they tried them and never went back. One of them tried a Fusion recently, the front end was good, the non-M10 suspension was awful. He is such an M10 freak, he tried an RX-1 with the mono suspension. His comments, the sled is great but needs an M10.

Ger, you know how i feel about the M-10. Its a whole new sled. also, use the directions that come with the M-10. When you grind off the flange inside the tunnel use a towel or something and cover up the drivers and the bearings. Metal dust and grinding wheel particles get everywhere and make a mess.

LOOSECANNON , I contemplated the M-12 but after reading what TEAMFAST had to say about it, it wasnt for me. Here is what they said from their web site" The M-12â„¢ is the newest member of the M-Seriesâ„¢ suspension family. If ditch banging's your game and you own a newer model snowmobile from the big guys.. the M-12â„¢ is a must. It is the longest travel rear suspension system in the industry-- bar none, and built for aggressive riders who love the big stuff.
Rugged construction with proprietary geometry to take up the nastiest terrain around. Aggressive riders will finally have something to soak up the whoops and moguls with 12.0" of under the butt real travel."
I am not that aggresive of a rider ,and the 2003 RX-1 in my opinion is not really made for ditch banging. The M-10 I have has turned my sled into a Caddilac.

I've had my M10 for almost a year, it is the most time consuming mod I 've done yet. First they don't tell you that the standard shock is (FOX) is only good for around 500 to 800 miles, then it is shot. Then they try to sell the JACK or CAM-IT. If you purchased your M10's w/o the Ohlins upgrade, you will be very, very unhappy. And don't buy the Jack or cam-it, once the skid is set up and set in, all you have to do is adjust the ohlins. Trust me on this one guys, I've had hours of frustration with this skid, buy the OHLINS of don't get one at all.
P.S. and if you are over 225 lbs, get the heavier black rear spring.

Thanks for the info guys. I think the M-10 will do the trick, and as you mentioned Indy I will get the adjustable Ohlins on the skid.

Hornings Mills is between Shelburne and Singhampton just of Hwy. 24 (124). Put 200 miles on this weekend locally and wasn't bad riding.

I was lucky bought Powerhaulics 136" M10 with dual Ohlins clickers and MValve. Some fields really down to snirt and frozen lumps but at 30 or 130 the sled road beautiful.
I guess now the they say that the fox shocks are better they dont need the rebuild after 500 miles , they changed something inside. If it does I will be having a problem with them as I asked specifically about that .
