Ordered the curve skis...

i went with 6" shapers and it's crazy how hard it hooks in the turns. Glad I took sean's advise and rocked the 6" carbide and didn't go with the 7.5" shapers. That would have been major major overkill.

I've rode them with shapers in both ^' and 7.5" as well as bergstroms. I like the 7.5" personally.

They are a little tricky to install without a little tip. When you are re-installing the bolt back in the spindle put the sled back on the ground which will allow the other side of hole to line up so you can push the bolt thru.

The first time I installed them I used a large C clamp to ads pressure to get it to align.

We're glad you like them STENOD! I'm also very happy that they made it to your door before you left on your trip

We've been saying for years that if you want to turn, float or go fast and stay in control, in any condition with low steering effort - Ride the Curves. In 2013 alone, the same ski you just purchased won multiple Pro XC Championships, the Cains Quest, Pro Watercross Championships, Hill and Grass Drag Championships, Broke the water world speed record and took podium at Winter X games.... all while countless mountain riders were playing in the steep and deep. One ski - no compromises.

I have a set of Curve Ski's that I used 1 season on my race nytro (last year). White Ski's with Black loops and 7" Stud boy Shaper bars on the ski's that are about 50% good. $200 + shipping Please PM me if you are interested or need pics. Or email me at kkilinski@hotmail.com

If I recall a new set of Curve Ski's is $367.99 and the shaper bars are around $60.

smokin deal for someone to get/try out the curves. I was half tempted to IM you just to have an extra set!

I'm still thinking about getting Curve XS skis, just don't know yet. I know everyone that has them like them. But I want to exhaust everything I can with the skis that I have to make sure that I need new ones. But I do want them....

Stenod , could you please add your location as per site rules. Thanks.

I run a set of curves on my apex. They are great handling skis once you get them set-up correctly.

For 200 bucks I would jump on those. You can always sell em, or keep em sitting around until you are bored and wanna try slapping them on to compare. Plus it would be cool for all of us to hear a comparison review between these and the C&A's on the viper. Think of it as a public service to the community!

koreyk125 - sent you a pm

on my apex they reduced the effort. on the viper I went with 7.5" shapers, so at very low speeds on hardpack I noticed a slight increase. Havent tried them with 6" shapers or round bars on the Viper. Im guessing with rounds it would reduce the effort, and shapers would be about the same.

Well I joined in on the fun yesterday. My curves will be here monday. I'm really excited to try them out and see how they compair to my outlaws I am currently running. I went with the 7.5 shapers as well. Being an ltx and 144 gders down the center I opted for the longer ones.
