I understand not wanting the push, but are you sure you don't want to revise that statement...a little?

I'm not sure what you mean???? :o|

A friend of mine has a 144 on his sled and he told me that it wasn't bad, howerver you feel it at the end of the day. Because of the longer track, it tends to push through corners. So, I thought a 136 would push as well, but not as bad as the 144. What needs to be revised in your eyes?

I agree with your decision to go with the 136" and I totally understand where you're coming from, but the statement, in and of itself, is bad PR for the sport. Not saying you are one - it makes me think of all those close calls with Morgan wannabes, drifting into my side in a curve.

AHHH. Now I see your point. That did sound like I haul a$$ through the trees. I asure you and all that I am very careful (and sober)out there. I hear you on the close calls, I have had a many sledders slide and throw crap at me because they are comming around the curve to fast and in the left side to far. Makes a guy want to turn a sled around and chase them down just to return the favor. Yes, you are correct, maybe I shouldn't have worded that phrase that way.

It's all good

If I can't take a corner and stay on my side while doing so, then I know, I need to slow down. But except for 2-ups, who wants to drive a bus into the corners?

I got her home today. Man, she looks almost to good to run. I mounted my 8" billet flame wheel to her and I like it. All I need is the axle now and investigate somemore to see if I will have any tunnel damage running that big of a wheel and studs. I'm thinking about trading the 8" for some 7" billet wheels for it. The stock rear wheels are 165mm (6-1/2") Would going to a 7" wheel using the stock axle hurt anything?

You may want to send the shocks to Excell before you mount the skid. Quite a few X owners are finding this out, afterwards, myself included.

And what should I tell them I need done?

I think they have a calibration more suitable for the X, and it's probably the same one that everyone else is sending them in for? For me: To stop the hard bottoming and kick-back. I wish I would have done that first, even though I hadn't ridden it. Now I have to pull the skid apart pre-season, again.

Or you could send them to LazyBastard j/k

o3 rx1 121,1.5 ripsaw and 196 13/4 studs with protectors intact they just ticlke the tunnel protectors if you dont keep the track tension within specs

I also had fasteners back-out on me. The bummer was when I lost that bolt that holds the swingarm to the rails. Thats a very special bolt that can't be found in the U.P. on a long weekend! Loctite everything!
