The whole point of the adjuster is for quick and easy belt removal. I think someone has some bad info. That means you would have to unscrew your secondary bolt than take adjuster out and install washer than reinstall just to use the belt removal screw. I don't think it's suppose to be in the bag.

I emailed OSP and they said take the washer off
This doesn't make changing a belt easy

Why would you have to take SECONDARY bolt out? It's the small metal washer on the inside of the collar with the Allen screw in it. You loosen the collar and unscrew it off the threaded shaft. The whole point of the adjuster is for quick and easy belt removal. I think someone has some bad info. personally ..I dont think once you have big spring pressure and twist that its easier than taking 15 seconds to add the washer , dial in the bolt and remove AND REPLACE the belt without wrestling with it...but ok...

Yea. OR just loosen the collar and leave the Allen wrench in and turn the collar clockwise That's what I do. No metal washer needed periodSorry guys Still sleeping when I read this. But then aren't we having to reset the float every single time we take the belt off? This adjuster just lost it's belt-quick-change ability, at least to me. Does anyone know "why" the metal washer has to be removed? Is it causing some of the secondary issues we're having?Yea. I had one on my Viper. It's an easier way to adjust your belt deflection/ to get the belt to the right height on the secondary. The float part comes easyBut then aren't we having to reset the float every single time we take the belt off? This adjuster just lost it's belt-quick-change ability, at least to me. I'm running mine with the washer in. I wasn't aware it needed to be removed and i've done over 1100km with it on.

They replied to me again and said remove it because it could damage the threads.
They also said they are working on a fix and contact them in a week or so.

I also had great service from the OSP team - great guys, thank you!
I didn't realize the washer was not to be used until you go to remove the belt - is that actually the case - seems odd and the instructional video doesn't suggest this. Am I missing something? What's everyone doing?
