How does it handle I only have 14mi on my RTX so I do not have my suspension dialed in yet.

Well, I am still messin' w/setup-It's scary from the factory-almost dangerous, I really think the first thing everyone needs to do is pull that limiter strap up---made the biggest differance in handling for sure. THe only reason you wouldn't do that is if all you want to do is jump- it will fly, launch, and overall be lots of fun w/strap droped down- just don't come into a corner w/ a full head of steam and think you're going to rail through like you would on a trailing arm machine.
Hope this helps!

well mr.plow i had just got over 430 miles on my attak w/floats and it does a better job in the steep and deep than the short counterpart, but i cant get the push out,in loose snow,on hard pack w/stock ski and 10" of very good carbide w/136 short studs it will rail to the point of to much bits and flip up on one ski. I cant get it to hook enough to squash the skid to hall the skis at all yet,but its down for repairs for now,and we are going with the big boy spring while its in,now maybe we can get it to work, and i wanted wider skis also but ones that bite better on hard pack...

I dont think you need to touch the limiter, not intended to insult you bit I think its a halfass way of getting the sled to corner. Monoshock spring setup and transfer rod along with finding a good pressure for the floats makes the sled corner beautifully. I feel pulling the limiter up makes the sled feel heavier. Ive also found the recommended sag and ride height doesnt work for me, it ends up being too soft and the nose is light as a result, which makes it corner poor, you can crank up the mono and small bump ride is still very good. I suppose if someone follows the factory guidelines theres a possibility you'll never be satisfied, something to think about as people play with these things.
I agree about messing with the limiter strap. It's the last thing I'd do. It takes travel out of the suspension, and usually results in a worse ride quality. The limiters are set from the factory to "level" out the skid to give an overall balance to the ride. I agree with TT, I'd work on things like proper spring rate(over 200, get the HD spring), proper preload for ride height, and transfer aduster and front preload/air pressure for fine tuning. If you're still not happy, try longer carbides, shims, or even different skis, all before messing with limiters. This notion of "scary" out of the box setup makes me wonder. Some others have said the same, but mine sure isn't. I'm wondering if not being used to the engine braking is part of this?

i had the c-clip moved to the third setting and have the fox floats set at 65lbs. i went to tughill friday and this set up was amsome. cornered like i was on rails and sucked the bumps up like i was on my 04 rev. no in side ski lift and very little darting, and i still have the stock carbides on. only two things i need to change is a bar riser and maybe different windshied. I not sure if i want to loose the look of the red windshied. the gas milage was great, ran 100 miles and still had three bars on the readout left.
hey guys,my limiters are loose without me on it,i can flop it back and fourth...should i tighten them up so i dont get the noise when i hi t the bumps or just leave it

They are supposed to be loose.
