We have a 2014 viper xtx with 4000 miles that recently has been overheating at low speed. On further checking the fan had blown the fuse. New fuse worked fine- fan cooled as it should and turned off when supposed to. Then the motor starts to overheat again..lo and behold the fuse is blown again! Wires appear fine- no bare areas- we are puzzled.....an ideas? Thankx.

Could need a new fan. The fan motor might be blowing the fuse?
Does anyone know if a bad or froze relay could pop a fuse?

The relay won’t blow the fuse. My guess would be the fan motor drawing to much current or a rub through in the wiring shorting out to ground somewhere.

Connect an amp meter in series with the fan motor to see how much current it is drawing. You could do this with an external power supply or battery too if you didn't want to have the sled running. I see that the fan is powered from the ICS fuse(15 amp) and I would be surprised if the fan drew more than 4 amps.
