Is polaris and ac the only sleds that have painted body panels? $12,000 + and using atv panels is crap to me. Is there a way to keep these panels looking new. My 08 40th in white doesnt really show scuffs and scratches. Lookin at a red ltx viper not sure about the colored plastic

The hood is the only thing painted on the new vipers. All of the side plastics are just colored plastic no paint, atleast as of now.

I was really excited about the red viper as well, looked great in the initial pictures. Then I saw it at the release in Minneapolis and now I can't decide, color came off as almost a dark pink not matching the hood really at all, now I can't decide. My vote might just be for the black one and upgrade the shocks.

It might have been the lighting there. I went to the show too.

You might like the coil over shocks. I know when the 2011 Apex demos with power steering were at Waldoch's I went and rode them. I liked the ride of the standard Apex better than the SE with Fox Floats.

There was one at the Lake Geneva snocross race and the panels where painted looked awesome. Saw one with just the plastic being colored also.

If not painted I will paint mine.Has proven real durable on Phazer.Even with some wear and scratches overall still looks better.
