Painted Grills

Thanks guys for helping me post the pics. Its for painting plastic, and its a three part process. The most important part is surface prep. Cleaning the plastic and then the primer. I'm painting my Powermad Handguards in the morning at my freinds up the street. (He is a cabinet maker with a paint booth) I'll get the names of the paints, primer and clear in the morning.

Somebody wanted info on the paint I used. Sorry it took me so long to return the reply. I took my son to a college open house at University of Southern Maine yesterday. First clean the plastic and then use SEM 39863 Plastic Adhesion Promoter, then SEM 02023 Metallic Base Coat, next top coat with SEM 03113 Candy Apple Red. After that sets up you can clear coat. All coats have about a five to ten minute flash time so between coats is not to bad.
I finished my handguards and they came out really good. When I get them installed I get some pictures up.

BA,
I noticed you changed the color of the wire loom on the handle bars as I did. I like the hand guards. I have the Yamaha ones on order. If I don't get them soon, I'll be buying a differant pair. Them may be the ones. Sled looks great.
