The right side graphic on my 07 RTX (flames) began to peel off and I need to replace it. I like to keep the stock graphics if I can. A replacement is expensive for such a small sticker...WTF
Anyone have any suggestions?

decal peeling off
3 m makes a product called adhesive promoter, works great on decals. area must be cleaned with rubbing alcohol first, then you wipe the area with the adhesive promoter, let dry for a couple of seconds and then you install your new decal. take a hair dryer to make sure all the glue has cured, and your done. used it for an engine cover plate I installed on my car, worked great, glue has not lifted even with high temperatures under the hood.

i'd use this as an excuse to add a whole new kit. Yamaha sells custom kits for like $75 to do the whole sled. or go to some else and get something no one else has.

where can I find the kits? ArticFX is $180-$200

there is a kit in the yamaha acc book
I also found that my decals came off very easily (brush and drifts). I have been hesitant about paying $200 for an alternate kit, knowing how quickly I tore off my orignal decals. Are aftermarket kits more durable?
The trouble is not the decal/sticker/graphic. The trouble is the porous surface of the unpainted side panels. The adhesive has a hard time "biting" on this type of surface.
I agree with the surface being the problem. I think there is a primer that can be used to prep the plastic. Not sure what I am going to do, I have all summer to think about it.
The kit from Yamaha is less than $60, but I don't care for the design.
