Paper Clip idea

I ran into someone that told me to use a paper clip to plug into some plug under the left side of headlight and I can adjust the fuel threw my gauge console. He showed me how it was done but I just want to know if its a good idea.

Works like a charm, have had to adjust for under tunnel pipes
