Parking brake wasn't holding on the tilt trailer, so I tightened it up a little, set the brake, and the cable snapped. Glad it happened in the garage instead of on the side of the hill somewhere.
I had assumed the cable had just stretched a little, but it was coming aprt right in the rigid elbow at the bottom of the sleeve.
Anyways, beware if your brake starts loosening up on you. Especially Mtn. guys, because the brake probably gets used more. I now carry a strap I can throw over the hydraulic brake in emergency.
Dealer warranteed the cable, no problem.
