Parking Brake

Last year in the Gaspe, My parking brake cable froze. being out in the middle of no-where, I had to run it. This year I went to replace just the pads and my dealer showed me the microfiche....you have to buy the whole damn assemble? Does anyone know where I can find just the pads?

Check with Port Yamaha; I think this is the part number,(8FU-W0046-01-00), check their web site micro fiche.

Your dealer is mistaken. I bought just the pads last year for my 06 Attak from my dealer. They just have to look a little harder to find the part #.
