06' Apex GT
When I picked up my 06' Apex last year I noticed the parking brake wasn't working. I'm following the directions for adjustments but the adjustment only adjusts the outside pad. When I adjust the outside pad close enough for both pads to touch when engaged then the outside pad rubs on the disc.

Am I missing something? Seems like there should be spacers that hold the floating caliper out a little bit? Or do I need new pads?

Then that is more than likely the case. The e brake caliper floats on pins and the rear pad is fixed in the caliper, the front one is adjustable. The front pad is adjusted to 1.5 > 2 mm from disc and adjusted as they wear. When you apply the e brake the outer pad is pushed up against the disc and in turn the caliper then pulls the rear pad in contact with the disc and clamping it. The rear isn't adjustable therefor the gap just keeps getting bigger and eventually you run out of adjustment. There isn't a lot of material on those pads, new has just over 1/16". Somebody has left the e brake on a time or two.

Awesome, thanks for the help. Anybody have any idea what the part number for a replacement pads are? I found the part number below, but it only referenced 2007 and up. Do the 07's have a different pad than the 06's?
