Is there a kit or Part number for the Jack shaft bearing fix for the 2003 RX-1???

there is no kit. as its the same bearing as the 03. you just need to order the tapered sleve and corasponding nut and the washer thats next to the bearing. and it works

I have an 03 shorty and this is the first I've heard of this, how do I know if I have a problem. Any other 03 issues, I decided to keep my 03 and turbo it.

i think most did not have any problem. it,s just that the 04 has a little bit betterset up for holding the tapered sleve in place and after putting lots of miles on one should go thruo and change any bearings that are posably worn or rusted as on any sled. note that this bearing has all the torqe and engine hp on it. and the 03 sleve can pop out as nothing holds it in place as mine did.
