its normal.. and most time's when warming up or high idle you can't shirt into reverse

this seems to be the dead button issue
yes after its fully warmed up. i see mine cooling down rapidly after a good ridin and have to wait for the high idle to lower down to begin the beating once again just doesnt seem right to me .

You just have to adjust your warm idle to specs, then it should let you engage it(of course you may need to rock the sled a bit to get it to engage, but I think thats normal)

Guys,
Its a good thing to let your sled warm up..It won't go into reverse at high idle for good reason. With the efficiancy of this motor, I don't think you need to worry about it sucking gas..Let it idle high for a few, get warm and then rock on!

Yeah mine does high idle untill it warms up then it idles at around 1700 to 1800. Right around 1725 to be exact.

Unload yor sled first start it then put your gear on and by the time you have your suit gloves and helmet on it will be ready to be run hard. It is normal for this sled to fast idle 2500 or a little above for a few minutes then it will settle back to between 1700 and 1800rpm when warm. Its a great little engine and once its warmed you can run it hard as long as you like it can take it ! There is also an idle adjustment behind a rubber plug in the right front panel as you are facing it if it does need to be adjusted but I doubt it really need any adjustment .
