Phazer popping in and out of drive

I Have a 07 phazer RTX. When I am driving 20 30 40 mph the green drive light goes off and the sled hesitates for a split second as it jumps out of drive, then it goes back in and continues to drive. It is doing this every 20 seconds or so. There is no grinding or anything to make me believe it is a gear issue. Reverse works fine besides the wiggle like every phazer has. Has any one who has delt with this or have a solution.

is the belt old or have alot off miles on it ...they will do funny things ...if thats good u have clucth issues ...

I would suggest to check your linkage.

Mine the light sometimes flashes like that but doesn't do anything while it does it except that it won't shift into reverse (no flashing R, no off-beeping, nothing at all). I have to shut down the sled, restart and it will shift into reverse and back into drive and the D light stops flashing.

I think it may be the shift motor is not fully engaging drive and it loosens after time so the sensor switch may not fully register.
