Ok, so since my Phazer FX was new, I had a ND registration that only required a tunnel tag. Now I have officially moved to MN, so I suppose I need to register it in MN. MN requires letters and tag as far forward on the hood as possible. As we all know, there is no hood, and the registration location left for us is textured.
Anyone got any good pics of their number placement and suggestions on the best place to put them? Also, you racers, what are the tips to making decals stick? Is it a matter of getting it in the heated garage and put them on warm/clean plastic?
Your advice is golden right now. It's time to get it out, but I need to get the letters on.
Thanks everyone!

I put mine on the 2 colored side panels that have the Yamaha Tuning Fork emblem on them. An added bonus is it isn't too hard to remove those panels and bring them in the house to warm them up and clean them. The only other place I found "acceptable" is on the sides of the black air box. As long as your numbers are in front of the rider where your legs aren't blocking them they don't complain.
