Registration Sticker Location

In NY & PA they require your snowmobile numbers and registration sticker to be mounted on the hood. Well the Phazer doesn't have a "hood". I would like to put it on the side of the "boat", but the left side cover is formed to the clutch shape and doesn't provide a nice location. Where have folks been putting the stickers on their Phazers? Think I can get away with putting the stickers on the side of the tunnel? Will the stickers stay on the side plastic or do I have to buy some kind of a registration mounting plate and pop-rivet it on? I have plenty of questions, but not many answers. I looked at the sled photos section of this website, but 90% of the sleds don't have any reg stickers on them that I can see. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated!

You will need a plate.The sticker wont stick to the sidecovers.I believe Sled Solutions sells them or make your own and rivet it to the covers.

Get custom stickers made and put them on the part by the airbox..where it says yamaha on both sides..along with the diagonal phazer logo..right by the headlight..looks great!

This is off topic..but if you look..you can see that my front shocks are maxed out for stiffness..and its still too soft..thanks yamaha! Ha
