I am running the CA Pro Ultra 3 skis on the front end of the Phazer it is hard to steer and it is scary in the punchy spring snow it wants to throw you it even did it with the stock skis. A buddy of mine has Simmons Gen 2s the 10 in wide ones and his is way easier to carve in that kind of snow than ours. Even going in a straight line it darts and starts bouncing side to side wanting to throw you off it is a constant battle.

What have you all done? I am seriously about to drop the coin on a new set of Simmons skis for our Phazer, my Nytro would like a pair to but it doesnt do the same problem like the Phazer does!!

are you saying when the ski falls through the frozen crust?

Reduce the spring or air pressure in your front shocks down to a bare minimum. This will do two things: Lower your center of gravity and allow you to lean the machine. You should be bottoming your suspension once in a while or you are not using all of it. You might want to reduce your ski pressure a bit with those C&A's by loosening the limiter strap too.

I widened the stance of my skis by placing the spacers on the inside.
Pretty sure the spacer has to go on the outside of the spindle to widen the stance.

PM me if you interested in trading your MTX arms for a wider set from a 121" sled. I also have RTX flox floats to go with it.
