Phazer Seat

The phazer seat is firm, but I really like the seat.

I suppose I can see a complaint in the beginning, but to me its like riding a bike. The first ride of the spring your butt is sore, but after a few more rides your butt is broke in! LOL

I can't say it.

This could go very bad!

So who wants to explain how it is that your butt gets broke in?I agree with that statement for sure.Didnt think it was a problem for women though. :hide:

hehe Cannondale you should know..
I think he's talking about his "sit bones" and pedal biking
I know mine ache for the first 50 miles of my riding season
although probably not as much as my out of shape lungs.

I bought this sled for my wife also. While I probably should have bought a GT, I bought the FX, so I could tool around on it too. Both have the same seat, so...... is the GT meant for ditch bangers? I don't think so. GT=GROOMED TRAIL!!!

With that said, I think the seat down outright sucks for sitting. And what is a seat meant to be for? Not standing.

I have an 08 FXNytro MTX and I spend almost all the time standing while riding off trail, BUT when I ride the groomed trail in and out of the mountains, I SIT!!! And that seat is the best!!! It is a couch!!! And I love it.

Back to the phazer seat, it is the poorest excuse for a seat since a 1970 SL338. I too am looking to do something to make my wife more comfy. I will be looking at some aftermarket alternatives, just cause I am not much of a fabricator when it comes to these things. I like them to look pretty sano.

So, who agrees a seat is for sitting?

Mabey you guys bought the wrong sled, I rode 250 miles 2 weeks ago and I mabey sat for 10 of those miles cuz I'm a stand up rider and I was comfy either way.

Nope I am talking of the hair situation.Gotta burn that off.LOL!

Ok so I didn't realize how bad the whole 'brake your butt in' thing sounded when I first wrote it ... stupid me not thinking about all the mature minds here!

I was reffering to pedal biking.

Personally I haven't had a problem with the seat ...
