Trying to widen my stance, but having trouble getting the spacers out after I remove the ski. I was told the only thing holding them on was the bolt, but I’ve banged away and it seems like they are attached to the spindle. Can anyone help?

they are seized onto the ski bolt tube. you might be able to get one of the outer spacers off by heating it with a torch if you do not have spares. as i have hit this before with mtx skis, i keep 2 whole assemblies brand new for when this happens.

I heated mine up with a propane torch and then set the end of the spindle in a cut off coffee can that had a few inches of oil in it. The rapid cooling sucked the oil in between the spacer and the bolt tube and allowed me to break them loose with a pair of vice grips. Ever since I remove them yearly and coat them with wheel bearing grease.
