phazer xtx owners reveiws

Where's those pics!!!!
:yam:
I'm in the process of switching some of the accessories from the rtx, doing some color matching on the pod protector, putting tool carrier on, a-arm protectors, windshield, wrp seat, once I get it together i'll post some pictures, rain from last night nearly wiped out the snow here, another major snow storm on the horizon for here, thank god! thanks :letsnow:

You are going to love your new XTX. I had an RTX and stretched it to 144". What a huge difference in performance with the 144" track on the ground. Have fun. G.B.

He's disappeared for a couple days, any bets on how many Kms he's logged?? Or miles for my south of the boarder fellow yamaholics :p

Well I got the chance to break some trails with the new xtx yesterday in 2ft of snow, it did it with ease, I was very surprised on how the machine just dug in and floated on top of the snow with very little track spin compared to my rtx, very pleased, one thing though, I found the front shocks kind of made a clunking sound every now and than on some rebounds is this normal, I do have them turned up, thanks:yam:

I noticed the exact same thing. Lifted and checked. Both shock bushings have lots of play causing clunk. Along with upper A-Arm bushing closet to motor.
Put FX shocks back on and no more clunks. Pull a shock off and you'll see the black plastic bushing. Not the best IMO.

Glad to hear you have some miles on!! Where's those pics of the updates you did. Gatta see that machine all gussied up

That's good to know, I thought I was hearing things or being to fussy, I will check, you would think a brand new machine everything would be tight but to have play like that shouldn't be, maybe there is a bushing upgrade to tighten her up, I will contact my dealer and bring this to his attention, thanks for the info, still working on those pictures, not to good at these computer extra's, I know it's sad. thanks again, 60 miles today :yam:

Agreed. No, you were definately hearing a clunk. I thought it was the skid slamming down on the strap at first.
I know they sell Oil-Lite bushing kits for the A-Arms, unsure about the shocks tho. Going to address mine, there off my machine as of 800kms ago. Stock Bolts are build for strenth, the do not do well in the "Shear strength" department.

Whoa. Think I'll check mine over seeing that! I just turned 3000K on my 2007 hahaha
My 07,s with 12k are now on my new one. I'll try warrenty to fix the new sleds stockers. Bushings are 100%.

I took a vid when I pulled away bar off. That's kinda when I stumbled on the play. Never in 1000 years would I thought it would be shock bushings.

That's hard to believe, mine would not have 80 miles on her and is making that thumping noise, I haven't had a chance been busy at work to do a check yet I'm thinking tomorrow, we both have the same sleds, and both are doing the same thing, wonder is there any other phazer xtx's having front shock bushing problems, I will have mine fixed at no cost to me by the dealer, that much play over time would shear the bolts off, thanks for the vid no what to look for. thanks again :yam:
