I did a search but most posts are 10-20 years old and discuss GPS mounts. Looking to install a phone mount on my 13 Apex so I can use my iPhone as a gps. Will then use Polaris Ride command or Brp Go apps to navigate. Was thinking use the 12v aux port adapter under the left handle bar and use my phone usb c cord from the adapter to my phone for power. Looking for suggestions on a specific mount they’ve used and if the cigarette style aux port under the left handlebar is good for power or should go direct to the battery?

aux port is fine for power source. just be aware that whatever is plugged in will vibrate out at some point. used it for my garmin on a ram mount for years but i do have lake effect bar risers with the mount point. you could always mount the ball to your stock riser if they make a mount for your phone/device. be aware that you might have to insulate it in colder temps as most cell phones kill themselves faster in the cold.
i have used @Rockmeister smart supply to keep my cell phone charged in the wind sheild bag at -30 with no issues.
