I ordered a set of $14 extreme white 1156 signal light bulbs for my bike and was not impressed with the light output at all in fact the wife said the one with the piaa lights was dimmer than stock. Sent them back and got the LED from custom dynamics. They rock at least twice as bright as the stock bulbs. Not sure about the headlights though they may be ok.

My PIAA H4 type bulbs (GT-X 135/125w) are so much better than stock and much better than the zenon ones im coming off of. If you definately need the extra light at night like I do, then get them.

any fear of them melting the connector or the bezel ?

The PIAA extreme whites are much brighter than stock. PIAA cost roughly $70-$80 for two bulbs. I've had them in my RX1 and Attack with absolutely no issues. I highly recommend these lights.

That is not even a comparison. Stock bulbs are 60/55 watts yours is double that so I guess they should be twice as bright they are using twice the power and maxing out your usable wattage from the sled without causing a drain on the battery. Any run of the mill light using that kind of power is going to cast more light than a 60/55 watt bulb.

Actually, they are still 60/55's, but they *claim* that the amount of light they emit is equivalent to a 135/125.

I would like to see the silver stars, Power bulbs and PIAA side by side in the same kind but different sleds to see a comparison. I am willing to bet the power bulbs do as good or better than the other two brands. Same wattage of course in all three sets.

PIA's are great lights!!! I plan on putting a set in my Apex. They are pricey but worth it.

Their exteme white signal light bulbs (yea the blue ones) suck plain and simple a normal stock bulb is brighter.
