Gotta love Ebay, seen a pair of "new 2018 fox zero takeoffs" listed and noticed in the picture that they had the small rebound knob on them. Since the actual sled they are off of wasn't listed I took a gamble at 250$ and bought them. I found Arctic Cat part numbers on the seal heads that cross reference to 2018' 7000/9000 Snopro, perfect match! Anyhow, they came with the spring adjuster finger tight and the lock ring loose so I'm looking for a good starting point on how many turns from contact to start with. Can't wait to see the improvement over the stock 14' Float 3 on my sled currently.

Get the a-arms just slightly on a downward angle when looking from front.

Ended up at 10 turns from loose, went old school and set them to 4” or stroke left out of the 5.75” available with me on the sled. Arms are just above level. A quick trip showed quite the improvement over the float 3, far smoother in light chop and noticeably better trail feel in the bars. Also seem to take big hits better, but I’ll save judgement on that until they get broke in.

I snapped up a set of coil overs from a Sidewinder last year. As far as I'm concerned the coils give a way nicer ride and can still take the junk. Air spring shocks just look cool. Too harsh of a ride though.

My airshocks Evol r will never be sold. Very plush and have saved my butt in some real bonehead moves.

Does the Rebound knob these have effect the Compression much at all? I know the Compression on my Phazers Ohlins effects the rebound 10%. I backed these off from the middle which is 16 clicks to 10 click and it didn't seem to do much compression wise but I did notice a change in rebound.
