Some winter i will cross the rock and make it to mecca(western newfoundland). For now a small patch on a woods road will have to do as the last ride tomorrow if i am lucky. You must have big connections to ride with the yamaha brass. The western part of our island home may be only one of the few places in north america to have great riding right now.FrostyNutz said:

Low Slung..... were still in good shape unless we get some major rain. Easter break is just a few weeks away ,,, pack it up and head West
Yamahinno3...... The Nytro had 0 miles at the start of the day . It's sporting all the 13 goodies including the new tuner skis , track, graphics, and clutching. They also have a new set of snowtrackers designed for the Apex for 2013. Some interesting changes but nothing mindblowing. I'm not permitted to say what's around the corner but trust me ,,,,, they are working on a new Yamaha
p.s. Check out the new Yamaha riding gear for 2013 ! It's made from a new extremely light material that only Yamaha has the exclusive rights to. It's designed to keep the body heat while letting moisture out and staying windproof at the same time. Very nice !!

Didn,t have to head west but east 20mins away and got to spend two hours ripping up a cabin trail and riding along a large lake(the 5cm of snow yesterday really help with cooling, along with the -4 temps ).No snow on the barrens but in the road and along the lake plenty. Two weeks since i had my last ride so me and 7skulls were pretty happy with the riding(didn,t look too promising from the road but it was longer than we thought). On the trailer now where they will stay for the summer after a wash/wax and greasing.By the way FrostyNutz who were the yamaha brass that were there? How long did they stay? And what did they think of the area?

Pics from our last ride of the season on Monday. So warm that jackets were unecessary and some even rode in t-shirts.

Here are some photos of a group that I rode with from Ontario..2 on 2012 1200 renagades and 1 2010 crossefire and 1 on a 2010 M-8, another on a 2012 cat that had no revers..lol..We road logging and cuts...and they are booked for 2 trips next year,,,They are from just north of barrie ontario..The first day was in freash powder..1 foot at 2000 feet...the second day was 7 and the third day was 12 degrees cel...Yes I guide...but only the people that stay at my place...Do this to have people to ride with...Gas and oil...and Im good...cant beat that price..lol..I have a sled for the trails too..
The best about doing this..is to see people try stuff and when they do it...they look like a little kid on a sled again.....love to teach how to ride off the trail...check out how these trail riders from ontario do on their 1200 skidoos and cat,,they are even going to rent from a friend some M-8s next year to really see how it is to ride a mountain sled...PM...me if anyone needs info...The Sled Den..is the name of my place..and it will be on the net next year..
The guys took lots of pics of me and asked me to show off all day...gee that was hard..lol...
Sorry the pics are mixed up..But who cares..lol...will post more of the rides later next month..
