Hey guys, on the brake/battery side I have a pigtail that is hooked directly to the battery with a fuse in it that isn't hooked to anything, is htis OK to hook a heated shield to???

I don't have that on my nytro but I have seen that on an apex. My guess is it is for jumpstarting. I don't c why u couldn't use it for your shield other than u might want t make sure the fuse is 10 amps or less. I wired my shield directly to the battery. No problems

I fused mine straight from the battery too. Nice and easy and works well
My sled came with that "pigtail" also. The dealer said they install them on all machines for their battery chargers, so it really isnt a stock yami option.
My buddy has a nytro also and he and i both have our heated shields wired direct to the battery. I just talked to him tonight and he forgot to unplug his helmet and it DRAINED his battery. So its a good setup ................ just dont leave your skid lid plugged in
