for trail riding will a set of dooly carbides on Yamaha stock ski work as good as a set of pilot ski or will the pilot ski work better

After trying both I would recommend Studboy deuce bars and shimming the rear ski rubber over pilot skis. Not a fan of the pilots for the trail.... they are to inconsistent.

We run dually carbides on our stock mountain ski's and it works. I actually don't mind the stock MTN ski's. I put a set on the wife's old SXR when she had it and it cued a lot of problems along with shimming the ski rubber.
