I am considering going to the Skidoo Pilot skis.. Who used them last year? What is your opinion? Good? Bad? Indifferent? Let's here about it before I go make this decision.. thanks, Chad

Many threads on Doo Talk as well as Snowmobileworld.com talking about durability issues. When new they work great but wear too fast.

I havent had a chance to use them yet.. but i do own them.. I have read a few threads on Dootalk about the wear issues.. but i figure if they work as good as i think they will, it will be worth it.. and if you stay on good snow, they might not wear as fast as some people have experienced..

I ran a set all season changed mine stock yamaha ski's and idler wheels out for doo products the second weekend out and never looked back. The sled handles 10x better with pilots hands down and well the wheels just about everyone was swapping out idlers last winter. I ran a set just bolted em up stock didn't machine anything like others did and carried on.
