I am going to have my mono shock rebuilt by them. I am going to have him do the custom valving. Do I just give him my weight and that is it? Can they do a progressive valving? Did it keep the good ride in the little stuff and help on the G-outs? I am 200 with gear.
I sent mine to Goodwin performance for a revalve for the big spring. He said that he did many last year with good feedback. G~ outs where way less prone to bottoming but the choppy stutter bump feedback is little more aggressive do to the stiffer spring. The stock rate was 5.0 and the spring I just sent to them is 7.0. Hope this helps..

Same thing here. Kurt said he would suggest the fat boy spring for anybody over 125 on the Nytro, because the suspension has a habit of bottoming out on bigger bumps. Don't know about the apex though. I had them revalve all four of mine, and dial them in to the muffinworks resevoirs.. Had to ell kurt my weight, riding habits, riding areas, and ratio of trail to boondocking to laking. He said he could figure the rest from the there. Prices look good, same with service, and turnaround time. Good luck
