I'm looking to try something on my RTX. I'd like to dye the silver stripe on the side of the seat black, and then using a stencil (adhesive stencil paper) spray paint the letters on the side of the seat. I am wondering if anybody has done this or has any suggestions. Thanks, Todd

I would try to find a better alternative to spray paint. The color will stay but there will be alot of cracking and flaking with the way the leather flexes, especially when it gets cold.

I do not believe that Paint would hold up, it would crack quickly as the seat compresses.

Embroidery is the way to go ;)!

Guys thanks for the replys. Bounty I saw what you did last year and thats what I've been thinking doing since I saw yours. My first thought is that I didn't think I could afford it. If I could ask what would something like that run for (2) "RTX" emblems embroidered.

I'll let you know by the end of the week, as my NEW 08 stuff should be finished............YAHOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo.

BTW....That Seat stood up for two seasons and looked Like New when I sold it

Bounty, Thanks for the reply. Looking at your pics, how is the "Attack" patch attached to the seat. It looks so clean I can't tell.
