Have any of you had the stud nut wear into the plastic, which means the stud is not tight in the track? This can cause the stud to pull out.
I had this happen with aluminum backers. Maybe it was because I didn't tighten them enough.

I have been running fastrac plastic angle backers fo 2 seasons and they are fine; also i put a washer under the nut and this stops the nut fron digging into the plastic and u can get a socket on the nut easely if u got to change a stud.

I run the standard round polymere fast track backers now for 10 yrs or so...I have NEVER had any issues with these whatsoever..'
We did try the TALL polymere backers last season and I dont like them at all...they mushroom out the NECK area when tightened..so IMO DONT use the tall polymere ones.
the standard ones however by fast trac are incredible...they are lightest backer on market and IMO hold up just as well if not better then alum.
I run alot of radar, and the name of the game here is LIGHT....I ran 120mph on radar last week and so far My rtx is really working well this year!
