I am currently studding a 1 1/4" bombardier track that has 2000 miles on it. The track seems to have some wear as the recomended 1.325" studs penetrate a 1/2" beyond the top of the lug (recomended is a max of 3/8"). Have only installed one and it seems to "stick" past lug hiegth a lot-is this going to be a problem? Please help as we don't want to wait until tomorrow to get shorter ones, as we are going north to find big snow.

I have already installed 1" tunnel protectors.
;)! Thanks in advanced for any info. :bling

You will also want to check the clearance at the bulk head. I ran longer studs in my Machz's and had to run the track tight otherwise it would hit the bulkhead at speeds over 100 or during sudden braking.

Hey might7yu, :drink: , you mean at the t5raCK :drink: /droive sprocket , bulkhead closest -point righgt? WHaT KInd ot crlearance shoutld o guy have andlhywayyy :drink: :drink: ??????????

that track muct be worn. 1.325 studs don't really stick out past the lugs on a 1 1/4 track that far.
my doo buddies run 1.375 in their 1" tracks, but with thicker protecters than stock.
I put 1.375 in my ripsaw 1 1/4. In my rtx, I ran some speed runs with no problems.
